Meet DR. Jenna Blake

Jenna Blake, DVM, is the owner and founder of Healthy Pets Spay, Neuter and Wellness Clinic. A 2000 graduate of Michigan State University veterinary school, she worked in Michigan in private practice until 2007 when she and her husband moved to Charlotte in search of warmer weather and a chance to be closer to family. Dr. Blake continued her work in private practice until 2011 when she subsequently became interested in high quality/high volume spay neuter work. After completing a training program at the Humane Alliance (the national training facility for spay/neuter veterinarians in Asheville, NC), Dr. Blake took a position at a local high quality high volume spay and neuter facility. This experience fueled a passion to help the community to address the pet overpopulation problem. Dr. Blake has performed nearly 20,000 spay and neuter surgeries!
